attention - we thought he brother Beau was crazy for attention - until we brought home this Diva....she just wants to be near you 24/7, and most of the time, that's fine by me ;)

Pet-Peeves:
she doesn't really like it if you're giving more attention to another dog than to her - if she sees this, she'll wriggle herself between you and the other pup, then push against the other pup and effectively box them out! Such a diva....

Favorite Toy:
she loves anything soft and fleecy - she has a little fleece purse {no kidding} and walks everywhere with it!

Favorite Food:
she's a bit more finiky than her brother, she likes her dogfood, and the dog biscuits I made, but I think she has a special affection for turkey pepperoni

Favorite Walk:
not sure she has a favorite yet, we've only had her 7 weeks now! But she has energy for days, and loves going where ever it is you're going

Best Tricks:
Heidi has proven herself quite the escape artist - the fence we put up that keeps Beau in is no match for her crawling and jumping skills! She also has the gift of gab - she make the cutest 'wooowhooo!" sounds, occasionally reminiscent of a Yeti

Arrival Story:
My mom, sister and I volunteer for a companion animal group in S. Jersey - we were in a PetSmart for a fundraiser when my mom spotted Heidi up for adoption through the local shelter. I had wanted to get Beau a playmate ever since we fenced in our yard, so my mom told me to walk over and meet Heidi - her sweet face and gentle demeanor won me over instantly.....after filing out the application, and bringing Beau down to meet her, she came home to live with us!! She's such a sweet and loving girl, after just 7 weeks, I can't imagine life without her!

Bio:
Finnish Lapphunds were bred to herd reindeer - Heidi uses these skills daily with her brother Beau - I often see her in the backyard placing her head on his back trying to move him wherever she wants him to go!
