Arrival Story:
I had been begging my husband, Chris, to get a dog for about a year when he finally broke down and said okay. We started looking on petfinder and every dog that we liked, ended up getting adopted before we could go and visit him. Chris ended up finding 'Roscoe' in October and after an application and a home visit, we drove 2 hours to visit him at his foster home. He was living with 2 other dogs and about 30 cats in a trailer and didn't seem to mind the cramped quarters a bit! He was super happy and wagged his tail the whole time. When we took him for a walk around the neighborhood, my husband was sold. He wanted to take him home right away. Although I didn't feel that instant bond, I was happy to have a dog and agreed! When we got in the car, he instantly fell asleep in the back seat curled up in a little ball. I fell in love and the rest is history! He has been with us for about 5 months now and has adjusted well to his new home! We love him so much and couldn't imagine life without him!

Bio:
We really have no idea what he is. The shelter said a dachshund mix and he definitely has the face but with the long legs, I'm not so sure. We are doing a DNA test on him and should have the results back soon so I'll update when I receive them!
