What I Did Today

Woof and Wags from Rainbow Bridge

Well, my battle with that nasty liver cancer has come to a close. I am running now with my furblings whom I have not seen in awhile. We had a big furfamily. I think my furmom really, really loves animals.

My furmom was so good to me. She made me one more batch of my favorite pumpkin-oatmeal dawg-gone good biscuits Friday evening (btw, I still love doggie biscuits!). I think I ate four or five of them the night she made them.

Because I love doggie walks as much as biscuits, she took me on two last doggie walks even though I was unsteady on my feet. I never fell over or collapsed, but one time mommy had to pick me up and carry me into the house.

I am glad I had a good life, esp. after such a bad start with unkind people. And, I enjoyed my last year even though I always wasn't having a good day. The time for me to say goodbye came quickly which was a blessing.

My vet was very kind and loving and came to the house Monday so I could say goodbye at home and not be afraid. With mommy holding me, I just went to sleep and when I woke up, there was Lucy, Angel, Tweety Cat, Sam I Am, Miss Kitty and Precious to welcome me.

Woof and wags to all of my dogster friends.
