Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog Tests

Mom had her Responsile Dog Ownership Day event Saturday. It was pretty cool! I got to play with so many dogs! I had fun!
Mom took me over for my CGC and Therapy Dog testing. She was so nervous and I wasn't even acting like I cared. We went through the paces and I passed both tests. Mom started tearing up she was so happy, 'cuz right before the test I was getting rowdy with Shamus, My wheaton friend. Then I had to be all serious and well, you know sometimes that switch doesn't come to quick! Laughs on mom. She's so proud of me!! Then she found out we have to do the therapy part again 'cuz I won't be a year old for another 2 weeks! Mom was bummed. She wished she coud've killed 2 birds with one stone.....I keep wondering why she wants to kill a bird....I'm not allowed to chase them.....

Summer vacation and summer school

Wow, I've been soooo busy this summer! My great granny passed away so I took the second longest trip in my life all the way to Alabama where I meet a really cool bulldog named Rosco. Mom wanted to take him home and Rosoe's mom said ok, but my dad said heck no!

Then we came home and I went to a rally seminar after finishing advanced basic. Then we were off again. I had to go to Tennessee to pick up my brother. He visited for 2 weeks and then we went back to TN to bring him home and then we went camping. That was different. We went to smoky mountains and this place had a dog park. There was mostly little dogs so my brother and sister got to play, but I didn't get to play with them much. I;m pretty friendly and I don't play gentle since I am so big and still a pup by nature.

So we came home and I started Rally class, I was rusty the first week, but I'm gettin better now that we have time to practice.

Mom started making homemade treats and mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnn are they delish!!! Now she's getting Ready for Responsible Dog Ownership Day in September at our kennel club in Gloucester. I hope that I will see alot of people there. I'll post more on it in the future.

How is everyone? Anything special happen?

Wow,
i just graduated advanced obedience. The instructor said my mom needed to work on settling me down for examination. I've got my long sits and downs well, but when someone comes close, I just go crazy, 'cuz I wanna just say hi! Then she found out I was only 7 months old and was praising me for such great work. I'm really having fun at this and I start rally in 2 weeks and then agility! I can't wait. I'm already practicing.
