Arrival Story:
I adopted him from Pima Animal Care Center (PACC) of Tucson, AZ. I was visiting my sister at the time. He was half-price because he'd been there since Jan 6th- the same day Ginger disappeared. I've been saying I'd get my next dog from a kill shelter and save a life, so I decided to put my money where my mouth is! It was quite stupid and impulsive of me to get a dog, when I didn't even have a ride home yet- I was intending to fly, but couldn't afford to ship him so we had to hitchhike. But it turned out great- an awesome truck driver gave us a ride the whole way.

Bruno gets pegged as everything from a Kelpie to a Karelian Bear Dog. I just call him a "mixed breed" on here because while I did do a DNA breed test on him, none of the breeds detected are readily apparent and calling him a Chihuahua/Shar Pei/Deerhound/Chow Chow mix would confuse people.
