Arrival Story:
Jake is the son of our yorkie Jasper (may he rest in peace) and my cousin's yorkie/shih tzu Angel (may she rest in peace). We wanted puppies and neither dog was fixed so we dropped Jasper off at my cousin's apartment one morning and picked him back up that evening. Both dogs were all excited and tail wagging. We didn't know if anything happened until a couple of weeks later Angel started to show signs of pregnancy. Six weeks in Jake and his brother and sister were born. I was finishing college, living off campus, at the time so when Jake was ready to leave his mommy my brother and his then girlfriend brought him to me.
