Arrival Story:
When our 16 year old Beagle died, David the Dalmatian, just walked around the house and made noises like he was crying. I looked at a web site for a hound rescue organization and Freddie was the first photo I saw. It said he had heartworms, but too late, I already knew he was the one. As it turned out, the treatment they provided was successful!

When he arrived, he could only be described as very polite. For a long time he would not come in the house after going out. I would have to get him with the leash. He did not bark only squeeked. I wondered if he had been debarked. It took about 3 months for him to begin to reveal his personality. At about 4 months I heard this loud and deep bark....... From the beginning he and David were inseparable. I was concerned about that, but Freddie does not know what "Alpha" means.
