*Age*- 12 months
*HW Status* - Negative
*Good with* - All Dogs, female dogs, male dogs, young dogs, old dogs
*Good with *- All age kids
*Good with *- likes cats but will chase
*Energy Level* - (1-lazy/10-hyper 3 mile walk required daily) 6 - Ben is puppy ..he is calm "for his age", but does have bursts of energy & needs some hard play/run time daily.
*Must be in a home that*: Has other dogs** Prefer other dogs in home ... as he loves them , exception may be made for right circumstances.
*Needs the following*: Crated when left alone, Needs training
*Has medical condition*: Has recovered from Demodex Mange.
*Needs work on* - Manners ( puppy)
Ben skin has healed & his coat has grown back in . He recently attended a huge adoption event & was perfectly behaved. Ben is wonderful is a socal setting / outdoor event type situation .. if you are looking for dog who can do well /downtown / at the beach/ outdoor cafes/ ect .. Ben is your guy. He is great with meeting new dogs & people . He adores his 2 foster Boxer sisters & would love to have a pal in his new home.
Ben like's companionship with his family & I feel a siituation where somone works from home or partime would be best suited for him.
He is house trained & well behaved however he is only 12 months old & somone will sometimes pick up something ( shoe, ect) that doesnt belong to him if it's laying in the floor. He is * not* a counter surfer despite his height.
He can be very active , when the need arrives, but most of the time is mellow & in "cool guy" mode.
He is good in the car & leash. He is crate trained. He is ready for adoption to the "perfect" home now.

Hi ,
I'm Ben ..I'm almost a year old. I had mange & my first family took me to the shelter .. they were going to take me to the "back room" ... thankfully one of shelter workers liked me called BRBR first & told them they could hold me for 45 mins till someone could get there .. wheeww ... talk about a close call.
I was picked right up & taken to the Vet treat my mange .. I'm almost better now.
I get along great with other dogs . I like cats .
I'm also good with kids .. however .. I will kiss your babies ..I'm just saying..babies need kissing & I'm the guy for the job.
I'm house, crate & leahed trained & like to ride in the car.
My foster mom really like me & says only the BEST home will do , so if you think that might be you ... send in your application today.
