Attention, toys, attention, food, attention, play, attention
One of his furblings ignoring him
Anywhere he can take rests and then run run run again at the end of the leash
looking way up or sideways instead of turning his head
Mom and Aunt Dorothy headed to Collie-furnia with Breanna to find the four paws needed to add up to 16. This was a big trip for my soon to be fursis Breanna who came from Collie-furnia's Bichon Fur Kids 18 months ago. Daddy couldn't make the trip cuz he had to work.
First Breanna met Brando and wanted to eat him. Then Breanna met Ripley and was okay with him but it took awhile. Then Breanna met Gizmo and they got along but Giz was mighty tiny to be in an active pack with a big Pharaoh Hound. Then Breanna met ME! We hit it off grrreat and I kept telling her, "you want a piece of me, bring it on!" I picked up her leash and pulled and pulled. She got a toy. I got a toy. She stole my toy. I took her toy. Mom and Aunt Dorothy knew we'd be wonderfur together.
I can't thank my furiends at Bichon Fur Kids enough. They took such good care of me until my new Mom showed up. And Breanna is teaching me everything I know - and so is Cuki - and so is Neksi who told me she'd teach me to chase rabbits.
I got to meet my Daddy on the way home from Collie-furnia. He took me in his arms and smiled at me. "This is the real thing. He looks just like Cuki did at five months." When we were leaving he picked me up and told me, "We'll get to know each other better soon Mr. Boy." My Gotcha Day to my furever family is 2-21-2010.
Sherman sent this explanation of some of the nicknames to Breanna:
"Breanna, Stush is a Polish nickname for Stanley, at least here in Pittsburgh. The other word means " How are you doing " (Yuckshamush and the answer is (Doobra) which means Good. My Grandfather's name was Stanley and my daughter's name is Deborah which is another translation for Doobra. I am probably still spelling it incorrectly, but I try.
My Mommy's name Patricia in Polish or Slovak which could mean Parsley, Stove and Potato. Which is funny because she is always in the kitchen and makes Parsley Pototoes on her Stove. So it would be interputed as My Mommy Patruska makes Patrusha Patrushas on her Patruska.
Sounds silly, doesn't it?
Lots of luck and fun with Stanley.
Laid back and sweet
