Howdy everyone. Mom says it's time for me to do my homework and give everyone a status update. I had my first play date with new dogs this past Saturday and I loved it. There were these 2 really big golden retriever boys there and this big white fluffy puppy who is a great Pyrenees and then these 2 really little things that mom calls shi tzus and I got along great with everyone. We all had so much fun chasing each other around the yard and wrestling (ok well the little guys didn't really wrestle). I think I would definitely enjoy having another dog to play with in my new home and of course I'd love to have humans too. I'm great with all other dogs but people are my absolute favorite thing in the world!!
Hi Sissy's foster mom here. Just wanted to throw in a note that Sissy has really let her true personality shine these past 2 weeks. She is a total people person and just loves everyone that she has ever met. She is very smart. So smart in fact that she will play like she isn't just to see what you will let her get away with. She will truly excel with someone who has the patience to be firm and consistent and set boundaries for her even though she is sweet and pretty well behaved anyway. She is very food motivated so just keep a few treats handy and be consistent and this girl will do anything that you ask of her. Your reward for a little patience will be a beautiful, well behaved girl who will show off brains and beauty in one package and who will give you more love than you would have ever thought possible!!

Time for another update on my progress so that everyone can see how well I'm doing. Mom says my crate training is still going really well. As soon as she says let's go to bed I'm there and I always go straight to my own and never my brother or sister's. Pretty smart of me huh? I sleep through the night with no problems and I am learning to sit and wait when it's time to come, just about have it perfect. If I need to come out earlier to go potty I will let you know by "talking" to you but hey that's a good thing right?? No messes for you to clean up. I haven't had an accident in the house in over a week. I'm also comfy enough with my "bed" (crate) that I will sometimes go in there during the day to get a toy out or just go sniff around in there for a few. I've put on some more weight and I now like look the pretty, healthy girl that I am. I'm still not quite as stocky as some boxer's that you've seen but it just gives me that special elegant look so I'm ok with it and besides, I fit better in a lap that way hehe. I continue to be a total people dog and I love everyone that I have ever met. I'm good with people in public, in other houses and even in my own home. Mom says now that I'm showing a bit more of my true colors that I should let you guys know that I'm not perfect just yet. I'm young and still very much full of boxer energy and I have a serious case of the wiggles. When I'm really happy my hiney just never seems to stop wiggling even when I sit so if you have a really small skin kid I might wiggle into them accidentally but I would never hurt anybody. Also I still like to get your attention by putting your hand in my mouth but I never, never bite and mom's been working with me on this as well as teaching me to take treats more gently and not gobble them down. She wants to tell everyone that I'm actually doing really well with everything and I'm plenty smart enough to learn whatever you want to teach me. Also I'm a total snuggle bug and I love to curl up next to mom and my fur brother and sister on the couch. I do know what "off" means so if you don't want me on the couch I'll listen but seriously I have such a silky smooth coat of fur how could you resist having me there to pet? I'm still waiting on my perfect furever family, hopefully with another dog to play with and I like boys and girls both the same. If any of this has gotten your attention, don't waste time getting in your application so I can answer all of your questions (ok well my foster mom may have to interpret some). Waiting to hear from you. Smiles and wiggles, Sissy Priss

Hellloooooo to all of you fabulous people out there. Mom decided I needed to give everyone an update (she says life can't be all fun and no work, sigh). Ok so here it is I now know how to sit consistently when mom asks. I sit and wait for my food and at the door so mom can put my leash on and she makes me wait until she gets the door open and she has to say "ok" before I'm allowed to walk outside. I don't know why mom has to make all of these silly rules but she seems to think that if I have some manners that it will be an easier adjustment when I find my forever home so I'm trying to learn. Mom says to tell you that my leash manners have improved a whole lot too, now I walk like a lady should instead of pulling so that's a big plus right?? My house training is also going very well, it's been several days since I've had an accident inside and I always go potty when mom takes me out and I understand the difference between inside and outside and I know that mom is NOT happy if I go inside and I aim to please. I am really learning to love my "bed" (crate) now, a couple of treats in mom's hand and when she says "go to bed" I trot right in and stand patiently for my treats and I'm good about being quiet in there and just sleeping all night. Of course it helps that my foster sister is in her "bed" next to me. Ok enough bragging on to the fun stuff... I have been learning to play with my new dogs that are here. The bulldog guy is teaching me how to play tug but our favorite thing to do is play keep away with toys or bones. Sometimes I grab one and try to keep it from my brother and sister and sometimes my bother gets it and then it's his turn to keep it away from us hehe. My sister hasn't quite learned to be the keeper yet but we're teaching her. I've also been teaching her how to play tug too, yay me. I'm working on teaching mom how to speak "Sissy language" since I started talking a couple of days ago. My personality is beginning to shine through now that I'm settling in a bit. I'm still as sweet and loving as ever just a little more outgoing than I was. Now that I've gained some weight and learning some manners surely someone out there thinks I'd be just perfect to join their family. PICK ME PICK ME PICK ME..... I promise you won't regret it =). Paws up and happy hiney wiggles to everyone.
