Arrival Story:
We adopted Lacey in May of 2009 at the city of Richardson Animal Shelter in Richardson, TX. When we went into the "adoptable dogs" kennels, all of the dogs came running up to the front of their pens, barking and jumping and trying to escape. Then I noticed one dog that was just sitting in her pen, looking up at me and most likely wishing that the other dogs would be quiet. I knew she was the one for me. We took her on a test walk, and that was all we needed. The second we got back from the test walk we adopted her right away, and she has been an amazing addition to our family, and a wonderful running partner for me. I love her with my whole heart and soul. She is my baby girl!!
