Sun Sign: Quick Bio:
 Birthday: August 6th 1996
 Likes: Attention

Pet-Peeves: That darn cat that kept stealing her beds!

Favorite Toy: A towel or rag that you can shred into itty bitty pieces for mum to pick up.

Favorite Food: Anything sweet - I loved chocolate, but mum wouldn't let me have any.

Favorite Walk: In the woods - lots of good smells there!

Best Tricks: Sleeping, looking cute, bringing my towel for my feet, waiting for mum to say ok before i can have treat lying in front of me, registered therapy dog for seniors and hospitals.

Arrival Story: A friend of our neighbour's son (confused yet?) originally owned Daytona. He managed to get himself into trouble and went to "Club Fed". We had looked after Daytona before for him, so were surprised when we heard he had put her for adoption in our local animal shelter. I immediately went and saw her and called an acquaintance that I knew worked with a Rottweiler Rescue. We were only supposed to foster her but, happily, failed Fostering 101.

Bio: The same time I got Daytona, I found that my skin cancer had come back in the form of a 2.5-inch tumor under my arm. The tumor was removed successfully, but the doctors wanted to ensure it didn't come back, so i was given radiation and chemotherapy. all through the proccess, daytona never left my side. Blue would come and check on me, then go back to sleep. they were my light and joy in those horribble times. Then, a year later, after i was clear of the cancer, i lost the use of my right arm and hand - partially due to the effects of the radiation. again, my wonderful girl and boy helped me pull through. my physiotherapist told me to make one goal - mine was to be able to hug my dogs again. it took 2 years but i did it! although they said that my bum scratches weren't as good anymore with just the one hand.

Forums Motto: Diva Dog - it's ALL about ME!
