Hi Everyone,

On June 27th, 2000, the world was blessed...with me! On June 26th, 2005, there was a birthday party in my honor. There was a lot of food for the humans and lots of special treats for us dogs. 11 of my Canine friends and 28 of my human friends came. We were able to raise some supplies and money for the Capital District Humane Association, my favorite charity. Oh, and only one burger was stolen (...that mom knows about...)

Please look on my sister's & my foster brother's pages for more party photos. The photos will only be up for the month of July.
1. This is the picture Mom and Dad put on the party invite. I swear they do this only to humilate me, I don't like it at all. (Well maybe just a little but they shouldn't show everyone like this!)
2. Mommy is holding me as the first of the guests arrive.
3. Here Julie & Mischka play by "Lake Chihuahua" with their Mommy and Daddy. Please note the Sombrereo balloon. Mom is Super-proud of this for some reason.
4. I got thirsty because it was really hot that day.
5. Taffy taunts his sister Max with cries of "Na, na, na, na-na you can't gt me!" Taunting sisters is cool! Go Taffy!
6. Mandy arrives dressed to the K-9's. She sure is beautiful. Mandy is a CDHA sucess story.
7. Lots of the humans gather around Lake Chihuahua to see Oreo go for a swim.
8. Ripley inspects some of the decorations. She gave them two paws up.
9. This is Dixie. Her and her sister live down the street. We've been buds since they've been little pups.
10. Here I am resting after the party. It was super-fun. BTW, my wish was that next year I get another party.

Spring has Sprung

I love spring...there are so many new things to bark at and about. Mommy takes us outside every day to help with "sprucing up" the gardens though I don't know why she calls it that she hasn't planted one pine tree! Silly Mommy once again.

Anyway, it's super-fun. At first it is a little chilly so I have to lay in the sun to warm up. After an hour or so of sun dogging, the schoolbus comes...we say "bye" to all the kiddies. Then it's time for more sun dogging. Usually after the mailwoman comes we go inside and get a bite for lunch. After lunch, we are warm enough to go and help Mommy from the shade. We help by letting her know when anyone comes into the hood. We have different barks for friends, strangers, cars and bikers. I "chase" special friends that drive by the side and behind the house. I can't see them through the fence but I knows that they appreciate my support. In the afternoon the schoolbus come by lots to let different sized kids off. After the bus comes by for the forth time, we have about a half hour before Daddy comes home and that means a Daddy-Come-home-TREAT! It's one of our favorite times of the whole day. Anyway just wanted to let ya'll know that spring has sprung here but; hopefully, you are too busy enjoying yourselves outside to even be reading this. If you are reading this and it is beautiful outside...GET OUT THERE!

Chi Party and a new foster brother!

2 April 2005

Wow today was a really big day. We had a party with our new chihuahua MeetUp friends. If you live near the Capital District of NY, you can learn about our local MeetUp group here: www.chihuahua.meetup.com/75 We are a (right now) small group of chi owners that want an opportunity for our chis to be able to socialize with other chis. It was lots of fun.

Also, Mom and Dad brought home a new fosterdog, Stoli. This is the fourth doggie friend that we are helping find a forever home. Stoli is a miniature American Eskimo Dog. He is about three times our size so mom is making sure that everyone is playing nice. He is very fluffy, kind of like a new toy. He likes to bark, which is cool. Stoli stays outside FOREVER, he doesn't seem to get cold. And he loves to go on walks.

Viva Las Vegas...Baby!

Let me tell you, first class is THE ONLY way to fly. They bring bowls of water and biscuits around before the plane even leaves the ground! And brother and I got to sit on Mommy's lap instead of in the carrier by her feet. Everyone was very nice to us and we were very good despite being grounded for almost three hours on the runway at home. Once we touched down in Vegas, brother and I had to find a hydrant, pronto! We met up with Nonna (dad's mom), Big Dog (dad's dad) and their two yorkies...Cody and Bella. They all live in Las Vegas. We were meeting Bella for the first time but she is not a puppy. She is a two year old yorkie that our grandparents adopted into the family.

We had a great time in Vegas with our extended pack. We visited many bike paths where we could run, walk and sniff as much as we wanted. We met a new friend, Jack. He's a terrier too but not a yorkie. He sure is funny. He likes to play with the sprinklers. It was sure great being someplace warmer for a little while.

For Easter, we went to visit with even more family in CA. We met lots of new people and went for a walk on a mountain and hunted avocados. Avocado hunting was fun but I don't think Mommy and Daddy are going to share. There were also lots of lizards everywhere. We didn't know what they were because we had never seen geckos before then Mommy explained that the thing on tv that sells geiko insurance was a gecko. They sure sound different than on tv. On Sunday night we loaded up the car and headed back to Vegas.

We had a couple of more days playing in the sun and then we flew back to NY...in coach.

BTW, the next time you are in Vegas I recommend HYPNOLARIOUS with Deogee the hypnotizing Min Pin. We give it two paws up!

I hope all my pals out there in Dogster land had as great of a Valentine's Day as I did! I got a new toy....a fuzzy, purple monster that says "i'm crazy for you." That was from Mommy, it is half right! I also got a special snack and a new bag to ride in. Sissy likes to ride in bags much more than me, I love to walk. Sometimes, we have to ride in bags, like when we go on the plane. I don't like it but I have a reputation as a "good boy" to uphold. Anyway, back to Valentine's Day, lots of fun and playing with the new toys! Yipee!

Road Trip!

Last weekend we visited my great-grandparents. We took a road trip which is better than an air trip but not as good as a weekend at home. At home I can growl at Daddy every hour or so and get a walk if I want. In the car, Mommy rides in back with sissy and me but she never walks me...no matter how much I growl. She says "It's not time to stop." I don't want to stop, I want to GO!

When she finally figures it out and we go for a walk, all the smells are different. That is pretty cool. I could sniff out new smells all day. And it was sunnier and warmer. And I got to see people that I remember. And I got lots of extra treats and chewies.

After I got back home I did lots of crazy laps in the house and outside. I had to go for a walk right away to make sure all my friends in the neighborhood were o.k. I wonder who protects everyone when I am gone? I will have to look into that...can't have all my girls unprotected. I had better go discuss all of this with Mommy right now. Bye!
