Best Tricks:
Sit, Lay, Stay, Leave it, Talk, Come, Wait, Outside, Haystack (it means my bed LOL), go to bed (her crate), and I can say leave it and once i say OK, she will go get her treat. She's VERY patient
Arrival Story:
My parents got her as the family dog at 5 weeks old (way too young in my eyes!) But she was cute and available so they got her. I thought she was the cutest thing but I already had a dog (chihuahua). Well I noticed she had some aggression problems, she was sweet but she would growl if you touched her neck area or got around her food. I knew she would have problems later on, as my parents don't train as much as I do. So at 6 weeks I taught her sit and that's when the training began....
I soon taught her how to "leave it!" and within 2 weeks I could put my face in her bowl if I had the desire to, I could pet her neck with no aggression, just a little tense. I worked with her and 1 month and 10 days later, Maggie was considered my baby officially :) from following me around to snoring in my lap to biting my toes, she let it be known, she was mine and I was hers. She's now 5 months old and the love of my life. Both my Chihuahua, Gidget and Maggie are best friends and I don't know what I'd do without her. Things really do happen for a reason :)
Maggie is a fun-loving dog who is extremely smart and learns any trick within minutes. Walks very well on and off leash. Very obedient and "connected" with me. We were meant for each other no doubt :)

i feel like i'm in a crowd, with hundreds of people around. honking cars. kids screaming. people laughing. busy like new york. everything is in color but me. i'm gray. i'm standing still with my head down and arms folded. people bumping into me without looking back, as if i'm invisible. i stand there, feeling all alone. then, i look down at my feet and there stands my dog. i am now in color and may not fit in but i.... blend, with the people around me. i smile and keep walking. my dog is the only thing that make me feel...visible, any more. without her i would still be gray. i love you maggie!
*Quietly smiles and closes eyes, thanking God for my new best friend*
