Arrival Story:
I was a librarian for the Maricopa County Library System and we had our first pet adoption day in conjunction with Maricopa County Animal Control. I fell in love with Blaze and took her home that day.

Bio:
In November of 2008, Blaze was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. The vet recommended radiation treatments for her, but even if successful, would only extend her life for about 6 months. I just couldn't put her through that, so I made the VERY difficult decision to have her put to sleep. It broke my heart, but I was very lucky to have Rubio to pour out all my love to! Blaze would have wanted it that way!
