Arrival Story:
I was in a pet store with my sister at Christmas getting puppy treats for her 2 dogs when I came across a funny looking puppy doing that "I'm not falling asleep I swear" sleepy head droop. I fell in love immediately. They brought her out and explained how she is from a farm and she was the only one from the litter who didn't get picked by friends/family of the farmer. She was all licks and the smallest biggest ball of energy I'd ever seen in my life! We put her away, with regret, to go away and think about it. We deliberated for 3 days and I went to see her before leaving town to go back to my city. I actually cried thinking I was leaving her there. Back to work the next week I told co-workers, and one said "I have never seen you look so happy as you are when talking about this dog. I really hope you get her!" So I left it for one full week and then called the store, gave my credit card, called my sister, and then she was mine! I picked her up 3 days later on Jan 2/10. My life hasn't been the same since and for the better :)
