Quick Bio:
-mutt-pound dog

Likes:
Sleeping on a pillowtop mattress, playing at doggie daycare, and watching hockey.

Pet-Peeves:
Disturbing her naps is an atrocity. She also does not like her nails to be clipped. She needs sedation for that!

Favorite Toy:
Squeaker Duck and golf balls.

Favorite Food:
Anything except fruit and vegetables, but she'll still eat them. LOVES Beggin' Strips, freeze dried liver treats (it's like puppy crack), oh, and she likes beer.

Favorite Walk:
Through the U-City loop - she loves to check out the "bus bins" of the restaurants who have outside dining.

Best Tricks:
Boogie - She dances and she can say "Let's Go Blues" (ok, bark it) - her daddy is a real hockey fan.

Arrival Story:
I found her on Petfinder.com. She had this saucy little expression on her face that I fell in love with at first site. Momma was a Jack Russell who had a one night stand . . . you know what happened next. We figured out that daddy was a Rottweiler. My husband (boyfriend at the time) didn't think she was very cute in the picture. He sent me all kinds of photos of pit bulls telling me she was probably mixed with one of them. I was convinced she was the dog for me, and drove 2 hours to Anna, IL to adopt her. When Dori came home, Chris fell in love. She's been his buddy ever since.

Bio:
Dori has been on TV twice for specials on her daycare, and featured in an ad. She does not know she's a dog. She has been raised as our daughter, and believes that she is. One attribute that proves it: She cannot sit like a normal dog. She sits back on her butt and spreads open her legs. Not very lady-like, but funny.

Ok, so here's the deal:

I found some great smelling stuff to roll in yesterday. Well, unfortunately, it didn't smell so good to mom & dad. Since we weren't at home, they took me to a car wash for a bath. You know what? That scrubbing brush feels really good! We need to look into getting one!

Well that didn't work. I got shampooed THREE times at home that night. Let me tell you, it is tough being beautiful. My coat is nice and shiney now. I think I'll skip rolling in that stuff again though, I'm tired!
