Woodland walks

FIIIIINALLY mom took me for a romp on the trail in the woods today... it has been FOREVER (feels like years it does).... she said she couldn't take me this fall because there were these things called hunters in the woods (whatever they are) and they may hurt me... well... I didn't want to get hurt but My Goodness Biscuits I missed the walks in the woods.

SO this morning, with some pretty little snow falling, she strapped on my safety vest, and let my friend Henry the Chocolate Lab borrow a safety vest too, and OFF we went.

SO MUCH FUN!!! We got to run around and walk in the streams (those that weren't frozen yet) and OH I got to sniff all kinds of bunny tracks (and even some bunny poops... I didn't eat them though)... Henry pooped on the trail, I knew better and went in the bushes on the side... that got me a treat it did. :)

Mom said she may take me out again this afternoon with my other friend Luna the Entlebucher... Luna is so crazy, a trail run with her would be soooo fun. :)

Oh I hope we go tomorrow too!!!!!

Wee Puppies are scary

So, I am not the type of dog to dislike other living creatures, but today I met some odd type of animal that I didn't like... mom said they were puppies. They kinda looked like dogs but were teeny weeny and they smelled sooo weird, not like your regular dog - kinda like poop and some weird smell mixed together. Mom said they were just babies, that they were 6 weeks old and getting a break from their mom for a bit so that's why they were out with us... BOY OH BOY I am SO happy mommy had me spayed, I wouldn't want some of those little things!! They just come rushing up, all six of them, and they tried licking my belly! UGH how rude!!! So I ran away, they were freaking me out...
