Arrival Story:
Zoe's story started out very sad but has a very happy ending. Someone had tied her Mom to the side of the road where she and her siblings were born. Her Mom and other siblings succumbed to the heat except for her and her sister. A good samaritan rescused them and she was adopted into a very loving home where she lived for four wonderful years. Her owners have a son that has health problems and they could no longer devote the time that Zoe required. They put her on a wonderful rescue site "German Shepherds Rescue of Pahrump" and that's where we orginally saw her. We contacted them and e-mailed and phoned each other back and forth for a couple of weeks. We sent them Bonnie and Sherlock's Dogster pages to let them know our devotation to our animals and the loving home we could provide to this little angel named Zoe. We adopted her two weeks ago and she has not only filled our home but also our hearts with the love and personality we needed to heal from our Bonnie's absence.
Bio:
When we orginally lost our beloved Bonnie and Sherlock our hearts were so broken we could not think of having another dog to recapture our hearts. It was like losing a child and the pain was still so deep. But time heals and my husband and I knew that we needed to give another wonderful dog a chance to worm themselves into our lives. When we saw Zoe's picture and read her bio (of course the main objective was that the dog must love cats!!) we knew it could be a match. When her owners Mike and Angela brought her up to us and we met, we knew she was for us. She fills our home with love and energy we haven't felt in a year and brings more than a smile and laughter to our face and hearts. Welcome home dear Zoe and thanks for making our life complete again.
