Arrival Story:
Peg was born just before Christmas in the San Bernadino Animal Shelter, her Mum and her litter mates were given over to OES Rescue of Southern California to be raised. I was one of the relief Mums and swaped out 4 of the pups 2 at a time to give the Rescue a few less mouths to feed and help with the handling. "Dad" decided we needed to adopt 2 of them....... and the rest is history
Bio:
Well here is Peggy, second from right and her sister Ellie far right and on the ground, at the Rescue Parade held during the Burbank Kennel Club Dog Show. The rescue does lots of fund raising here for all the sheepie rescues in So Cal. The rest of the line are the other brothers and sisters. From left to Right.... Rudy, Dorathy, Belle, Nicky, Peg and Ellie. Carol the last of the litter could not join them on that wet rainy day in December.... Yes it never rains in Southern California! Man it Poors

Weekend away to the desert but I got a surprise, this was not our normal desert...we drove straight on through Ocotillo Wells and carried on for at least another hour. Wow that was a long car ride. It was about midnight when we finally stopped and were allowed out. No chance of me running away as this place felt funny on my feet. The next morning the sun came up and we got to go for a walk. There was sand everywhere.... Yes it is the desert but our normal desert is a lot more normal.... the sand here is piled up in mountains and there are no rocks for me to eat. It is so fine here it tickles your toes. Mum calls this place Glamis Dad said we can go for a ride and have a bonfire at night.

Ha Ha!!!
My sister got a haircut. Mum did it... she looks like the lawnmower run her over..... And the best part is I don't have to have one. Hahahahahaha I keep laughing at how silly she looks. My coat is a good one and I don't get knots. It is now 5 inches long. I guess that is long considering I have only been growing it out since last summer... Mum says I just have to have a regular weekly brush out which is lovely because I get to have her undivided attention for a long time.
There is only one downside. Ellie can run even faster now. I think it is because of all the excess weigh she lost when the trash bag was filled up with her clippings.

Today I am going to bark a lot.... Mum won't let me outside to play because the ground is wet and she cleaned the carpets yesterday.... I don't care if it rains again... it means I get to play in the muddy river that runs through our yard. Inside playtime is not as much fun. My sister does not do inside playtime, she just likes to hang out next to mum while she works on the 'puter. So its Booooooorrrrriiiiiinnnnnng. Hmmm nothing new to eat. Time for a nap......
