Arrival Story:
My husband and I found Ziggy at midnight running through an intersection after being hit by a car. He was only about 4-5months old. We thought his leg was broken, but the vet said it was only badly bruised and cut. He was exhausted and slept for 3 days. Then he bounced up wagging his tail in his cage at the vet and wanted to come home with us. Nobody claimed him, so of course he became ours. He's been the most loyal, wonderful dog.

Bio:
03/28/06 For the 2nd time in 7 months we've had to say goodbye to a beloved friend. On Friday March 24,2006 our Ziggy became very ill. It was soon found that cancer had taken over most of his body and he was bleeding internally. Not even surgery was an option since the cancer was already spread to almost all major organs. Ziggy being the stoic, brave dog that he was showed no signs of his illness until it was too late. We very reluctantly said our goodbyes and chose to put him to sleep Friday afternoon. As bad as he must have been feeling he continued to wag his tail even until the end. We'll see you and Tyler at the Rainbow Bridge dear sweet Ziggy. You were absolutely the best.

Happy Birthday to me...I think..well we are guessing since I was a stray and no one truly knows when I was born! But this is my special day to celebrate...I am as old as my people are married since they gave me their anniversay as my birthday...same year too. They are making a fuss over me so I don't mind, and Dogster gave me extra treats. Yippeee!! We got to go to the park the other day. There were ducks and a pond and other dogs to smell. Fun!

Welcome to Reggie

I'm thinking Tyler is gone for good, and the new guy has some big paws to fill. His name is Reggie and he's quite nuts. I think they forgot to bring home his brains when they got him. (Just kidding Reggie.) He's not as mean as Tyler was cuz he lets us sniff him and stuff, but he still hisses and runs like the wind if we get excited and want to play with him. I don't really want to play with him, I just want him to stop eating my dog food! Mom's on top of it though cuz she gets him with the squirt bottle when he gets near my food. Mom and Dad seem happier now since they brought Reggie home. We are all so lucky to be here. We are like a bunch of misfits and they brought us home and loved us when no one else wanted us. (Even Blazer the guinea pig.) Way to go to all the people in Dogster/Catster land who rescue the animals. Where would we be without you? G'night.

Tyler the King has gone somewhere, and I don't think he's coming back. Mom & Dad are very sad lately and they got rid of all his stuff like his food bowls and his cat box. I know he wasn't feeling well lately cuz he wasn't chasing me and Tucker around anymore. It's a little strange without him to boss us around. I'm gonna actually miss the guy. He's always been here since I got here anyways. Mom said something about me taking over the reins and keeping the Ranch in line since I'm the old guy now. Old? Who's she kidding? Well, Tyler wherever you are, I hope you are feeling better. Maybe you can get to be outside where you can catch lizards and chase butterflies. Love ya bro. - Zig
