Max can pick up and hold 4 tennis balls in his mouth and is working on getting 5 in his mouth!

Arrival Story:
Max's owner turned ill and gave Max to a friend to take care of. The friend turned Max over to the local animal shelter where the good people from AAARF (Auburn Area Animal Rescue Foundation) took him in and saved his life. Max was a mess when rescued. He was full of fleas, worms, and his coat was filthy and matted. Once he was all cleaned up and vaccinated AAARF put him up for adoption. My mom saw his picture in the local paper and knew I had been wanting another Golden after the passing of my 13 year old female about 6 months prior. Once I saw Max's picture I called AAARF to make an appt to meet Max. I brought a tennis ball with me to meet Max and from that point on it was an instant bond!!!
