Arrival Story:
Sophie was at a shelter in the SF Bay Area. She had been rescued from a dog-hoarder in rural Northern California, and had been passed from family to family. Her shelter name was "Sweetie". And that describes her well. Sophie has the GSD stand-off personality with strangers, and has been known to nip the heels of strangers if they go anywhere in our home that she doesn't approve of. She is an angel, with the sweetest disposition. She's a soft dog, but is also an excellent guardian. Bless her! She is the light of my life.
