Arrival Story:
Adopt 2010 Contest .... Nadia was picked up as a stray in Heard County GA, along with a "bonded" male Husky. They were both living on borrowed time when we heard about them (as usual in the evening of the day they were to be put down and on a Friday to boot). They got a reprieve the first week and the next week both were saved. The male was adopted and Nadia was pulled for a rescue and transported to Miami Fl. We contacted the rescue and she was then transported to Fayetteville NC where we picked her up. It turned out that she was pregnant possibly by a Great Dane (they were picked up hanging around one and her Husky friend was neutered. We had her spayed due to the possibility that it was the Great Dane's handiwork and due to her size (very small) carrying the litter was risky to her.

Bio:
Nadia looks almost exactly like Lucas other than size and has the same disposition as well. She has gone on several Therapy Dog visits with him and has performed beautifully even on the first visit 4 days after arriving in her new home. We are thinking seriously of having her certified through TDI as well.
