Sadie's Story

Sadie came into my life on March 25, 2009. I had lost my boxer Duchess, of 10 years to cancer & didn't think I was ready to open my heart again, but that was not to be. Sadie had been lost or dumped by someone & a family who really didn't want her was keeping her until they could find her another home. I was in my dear friend's pet store when I heard about Sadie. I said, I'm not ready for another yet, but maybe we can take a look. So my friend & I went to see her. She walked up to me, sat at my feet & looked up at me like where have you been, I've been waiting for you. That was it, I was hers, she adopted me. Sadie went from being an outside neglected baby to being an extremely spoiled rotten boxer. I think she had a little help from upstairs, i.e.,Duchess on how to win me over. From day one, there was never an doubt that she & I were meant to be together & I was her new mommy.
