Buckeye

That white, wet, fun stuff to play in!

On Sunday, we woke up to something unexcpected. I couldn't believe my eyes!
Me and Brutus were having just or normal potty break at 6 AM. All was usual until I felt something wet beneath my paws. I looked down to see, you guessed it, white stuff on the ground! Our owners were calling it... snow? I think thats the word for it.

Anyways, my first reaction was to just stuff my face in to it. Brutus was going nuts in the meantime, just jumping around the yard like a rabbit. I decided to join him. It was beyond fun! Sure better than the kiddie pool in the Summer!

So, we played outside for a few minutes, came back in to rest and warm up for a few minutes, then went right back outside. That cycle repeated for the longest time.

We got to go in the front too. I was getting carried away off leash because I just couldn't tell where the street or my yard was! My owner helped me out and made sure I didn't step a paw in to the street. Me and Brutus began to play again until our faces, paws and legs were white with snow.
Boy were we tired after that! Fun day.

This morning we woke up, went outside and almost slid on our bottoms! Wow was it slippery. It frozen-rained all night. We went out in the front and could just barley manage to go up and down the driveway without falling. Ice isn't nearly as fun as the snow :( Awww.
Lets hope more snow and less ice!

Thanks for visiting my Dogster page and reading my diary! I am going to tell you a little bit about me first.

My name is Buckeye. I am a four year old Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier who will be turning five on November 28th.

I have something called "Hypothyroidism" which makes me a pretty laid-back dog. I also lose some hair and gain weigh if its not treated. But I am very loving!

I also have tons of alleriges, and am allergic to around 50 different things. Mainly Barley, Potatoes and Rice. I've also got some strange allergies- like Kangaroo. I luckily have found some dog food that I can eat without getting too itchy. It has Chicken in it, but I'm only slightly allergic to that.

I live with another Wheaten named Brutus who loves to play with me no matter what. He has tons of energy, and I'm just the oppostie!

Hmm.. what else? Oh! I love cheese. Cheese is my MOST FAVORITE treat EVER! I don't care what kind of cheese it is! Its all good.

Oh yes, my half-brother lives a couple houses away from me. He's just like Brutus- can't get enough playing. He looks a lot like me, except for his hair is just a tad bit darker and he's a bit smaller than me.

One last thing.. I LOVE THE SNOW! Winter is my favorite time of year for two reasons 1) As I mentioned, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the snow. So much fun! And 2) My allergies aren't bad then! No pollen or yucky grass to make me all itchy. Perfect!

I think thats basically what I have to tell you about me. I sleep a lot, I like walks if its not too hot. I enjoy playing every now and then. :) Just the general facts.
