Arrival Story:
buddy came to us after being a stray and had heartworms,was going to be put to sleep.but we couldnt let that happen. so we paied the $100 adopton fee..which we would get back if we had to put him to sleep due to the heartworms. we found out that the heartworms were at the begining stages and that it was treatable. so we paied the $500+ it cost to get it treated. we feel in love with his personality..his eyes..they are so sad..and that captured our hearts. he was skin and bones..and looked like a puppy. we later found out that he was 5 yrs old. and that the lab rescue didnt want him cuz they said he was to aggressive. I think it was because they knew he had heartworms and didnt want to go threw all that. so then thats when he went to the pound. and was goin gto be nutered and put up for adoption in 3 days. well thats when they found out he had heartworms. and were going to put him to sleep. we couldtn let that happen. Now hes a healthy..happy..and crazy member of the family. spoiled rotten.lol. lives with a cat. that cant stand him. and he tries to aviod that cat at all cost. lol. he loves to be petted. loves to lick.and loves to sleep under your feet. also gets to sleep anywhere he wants. told u he was spoiled. he usually picks the couch or the bed u are sleepin in. lol. loves all people. kids too. is a lil weary of bigger dogs then him. but loves small dogs. he gets along really well with all dogs.

Bio:
we believe he might have been abused perhaps by kids on bikes.because he barks at them when they go by while hes on his walks.. but other then that hes a great dog. couldnt ask for a better dog if u made it your self. :)
