Arrival Story:
widget needed a friend, and i adopted daisy, sight unseen, from the looziana basset rescue (see: www.bayoubassets.petfinder.org).

Bio:
when she came to me, daisy had been very abused. she had whip-worms, conjunctivitis in both eyes, a broken leg, and she had just had puppies, from which she was still bleeding. we spent six months on special diets to bring up daisy's weight, and another year fighting leg and skin problems, but she has always been sweet and well-behaved.
