Arrival Story:
Brutus was found scarred and skinny in an area known for drugs and dog fighting. He ended up at a local shelter where a friend volunteers for special cases. Well he became Auntie Kirstens Special case. He is such a smiley happy man who really could resist! She took care of his romatic nature and started teaching him basic obedience. However he sat in the shelter for a very long time. Too many of the wrong type of people wanted him. So she told me about him. She even tried to help him more by listing him on the Chicagoland Bully Breed Rescue website. It didnt help. I went to meet 3 dogs that day and he won me over. The next day we adopted him. The first few months were rough. He was a grown dog but with NO training on proper manners. A lot of mouthing and dominance issues later, this summer he passed his Canine Good Citizenship test and has proven to be a true Bully Breed Representative.
Bio:
I now have a little brother... Im sharing some of his pictures too. But mommy always tells me I am his favorite. Momma makes sure I get to go on special rides. She always tells me I am her favorite man. I sleep where ever she does. I have lots of allergies, and my ankles hurt sometimes, but we do lots of things together. My FAVORITE place to eat is Arbys.

Guess what I learned how to do! Lure coursing. Momma put some of the pictures of me doing it up. BOY IS THAT FUN! I just wish the peoples that breaded me made me a better dog. I have BAD ankles momma sez and that causes problems. Momma sez I ROCKED lure coursing. Of course I also did REALLY good in a doggie bedience contest at a pic-a-nic. I was second place. But momma was still furry proud of me. My brother came in second place in the relay race. He woulda been better but he was scared to hurdle. I LIKE to hurdle.

Boy I was sure sad sunday morning when I saw momma get on her show shirt and leave with out me. But when she came home she made up for it. Our friends Cain brain and my Little brothers litter mate came over. I cant believe how small our room is. 4 bullies in there was just too much. Our neighbors looked happy to see cain brain and pilot leave, but I sure miss them. Cain is a goofy fella and Pi-guy is just as mental as my brother.
Momma says I have to take another test after she goes to a class. I wonder what she is going to learn. It is for something called the delta society. She says it means I can go to nurses homes. I dont know why nurses need me, but thats ok. If it makes my momma happy, I will be glad to do it.

Momma started a new work last week. Momma ALWAYS gives us hugs and kisses when she gets home, but today she runned right into the BATH! She told daddy that there was a Parvo puppy maybe at work. Not sure what kind of breed that was, but must be pretty UGLY if momma had to take a bath like that.
Momma works at a place called a Human Society. I used to live in one of those too. I just KNOW my momma is extra nice to the bullies, but she has to give everyone kisses. She did threaten us with a kitty, but I just love to give them baths. So i would mind, but she said daddy would get too sick from the kitty. Dont know why unless he eats those tootsie rolls like my brother tries, but no kitty for us now.
Im off to get my shirt on. It is COOOOOOOLLLLLLDDDDDD here. Zero degrees.
