When people leave via the front door; when visitors talk to his person and not to him; the vacuum (even the word "vacuum"), and its evil cousins the lawn mower and the leaf blower; being brushed; rain; the fact that his little brother is a "morning" dog

Real toys: the chippie and bully sticks; "Toys" he's not supposed to have: pens and paper

Favorite Food:
Umm...anything! But he BEGS for the leaves of brussels sprouts when I'm cleaning them; however, due to bladder stones, he's really not supposed to have anything but his special food.

Favorite Walk:
To his neighbor friends' homes

Best Tricks:
Shake hands; "singing" for his breakfast; sounding pitiful when he can't reach a toy; being so darn adorable!

Arrival Story:
Since I was living in a condominium that did not allow dogs, I went to visit the breeder "just to see," thinking there was no way I'd put a desposit down on the pup. Needless to say, I left a check, even though she said she'd hold him for a few days for me to think about it! Three weeks later, on Mother's Day, no less...I brought him home--all 4.5 pounds of him! (and "hid" him for several months until my condo sold!). He now is free to romp around his house and his fenced-in yard :).

Bio:
Emmet has one litter mate brother whose family was also coming to fetch him on Mother's Day, 2002. They came all the way to Michigan from Manhattan. We would love to find him on Dogster! He is a very good big brother to Wallace.
