All about me...

My name is Scrumpy. I'm a black and white Maltese/Lhasa Apso mix. I'm almost 6 months old. I live in a very large 3 bedroom apartment with 3 people roommates (Jimmy - my guardian, Wade and Roxanne) and 1 kitty roommate (Pippin).

I go out for long walks 3 times a day and sometimes more on the weekends. Most of my walks are with Jimmy. We go to the gigantic dog park across the street and I get to run all over in the huge fenced in dog pen. I like to just run around and chase birds when they're in there.

Sometimes we go down the hiking trail along Lewis Creek that goes down the really high, forested hill that we live on. I love those walks the most 'cause I get really dirty and then get to have a water bath when I get home and I like to play "towel" when I'm getting dried off and then run around like a crazy puppy when I'm let out of the bathroom.

I have lots of toys to play with all day and when I'm not playing with those I'm usually playing with Pippin. Sometimes I pull him across the living room by the ear. He gets me back though when he pops out of nowhere and then chases me.

I just started puppy training school last Tuesday night with Jimmy. I got to meet lots of other puppies and had a lot of fun. I was the only one that knew the "sit" command. Jimmy was really proud of me.

I'm a love dog. I like to cuddle (when I'm not running around like a crazed lunatic and trying to get people to play with me). I don't bark that often, unless I see or hear a dog on the television and then it's "go time". Some times after staring at a dog on the TV I get up and try to find the dog behind it. I haven't found one yet, but I'll keep trying.
