Didn't take too many of those due to her only having three legs and a bad back hip

Arrival Story:
My friend gave her to me as my 18th b-day gift. She was my first dog for myself and I loved her so much. She cried on the front seat on the way to my house - she didn't know what happened to all her brothers and sisters or her mom. But as soon as we got inside the house, she became entertained with me and the new toys!

Bio:
Zeuss gave us the best five years of her life. She always had a smile for everyone, as you can see in her pic. :) When she was almost one, her back leg had to be amputated. She did fine though, and ran with the other dogs at the dog park as if she had five legs! We had to let her go to the other side of the rainbow in April of 2004 because she had extremely severe hip dysplasia in her back leg, and we tried pain meds, but they didn't work. Surgery wouldn't have helped because she only had the one back leg to work with, so as selfish as we would have liked to have been to keep her with us, we couldn't bear the thought of her having to continue on in as much pain as she was in. She passed away in our arms the day before Easter Sunday and three days before her 5th birthday. We love you always and miss you Zeuss!
