Leave a bone for Andy

Nicknames: None we call him Andy and it fits

Quick Bio:
 Likes: Good food and cuddling.

Pet-Peeves: Other dogs hogging the toys, but he is learning to share better

Favorite Toy: ANY ball.

Favorite Food: Any, But Natural Balance Logs are a real treat!

Favorite Walk: He is happy wherever you are

Best Tricks: He is working hard on learning Sit, Down, Stay and Come.

Bio: Andy is the typical happy go lucky boxer pup. He is a smart fun loving guy that is always up for a game of fetch or some cuddle time. Andy learns the rules fast but is just as willing to "test" them, hoping for a sneak of human food or time on the couch. All-time favorite toy is a ball, He loves to chase balls that "magically" fly out of our hands and across the yard. Andy has not figured out the concept of bringing it back just yet, but he is smart and I am sure he will learn.

Hi Everyone, its me, Andy! Sorry I have been MIA for a while, I have been doing some traveling! I had to venture over to Raleigh to see a special doctor about my legs. We had to wait a little while to get an appointment so I have been crashing at a house with another bigger boxer boy, he likes to play too! We play every morning after we eat breakfast - you know food always comes first! I love treats so much I will go running into my crate for one. The lady here doesn't trust me to stay out in the house because I am so young. But she had a change of heart today. Since I have been doing so well (no accidents and no getting into things I'm not supposed to) she decided to let me chill in the house while she went to class this morning! I was so excited I was extra careful so that she would let me out more often. I think I impressed her because when she got home she walked through the house and then gave me extra special love. Yesterday I finally got to go see the special doctor, it was a big scary place! I was very uncomfortable.... but I listened and was very nice to everyone that poked and prodded me. They took some xrays and said that I have to have surgery on both legs! You see, my back legs look funny, my patellas are on the inside of my knees instead of in the front. I don't even have a groove where they should be. So the doctor is going to make the groove and put my patellas back in their proper place. While he is in there he is also going to look at my ACL and make sure that is ok. Unfortunately, this surgery is going to be very expensive - $2000 for each leg! Now, I know what you are thinking... and this was a birth defect and had nothing to do with my earlier life. Actually, it is a pretty common birth defect, the doctor I saw said he had 3 other dogs with the same issue this week! Ok, gotta go plan my trip back to my foster mom (I miss her a lot) talk to you later!
