Peanut is LB's brofur. His mom found out she was terminal a little over a year ago and called me to see if I would take Peanut so he would not have to be taken to the pound. At the time, I felt I had enough dogs and initially told her that I could not take him. She waited a couple of weeks, then asked me if I wanted him again. Being that she was such a good friend of mine, I could not tell her no twice. I went and picked Peanut up and brought him home. Six months later, she passed away. I am so happy I took Peanut, he has brought so much to my life. Every time I look at him, I see her face. She knew I would give him a good home and he simply loves it here. He has taken over the "Alpha" spot from LB, who is such a gentleman that he brooked no argument from Peanut at all. They co-exist peacefully and my heart is full of love.
