Arrival Story:
Laddie, registered name "Kayto's Rare Lad", was a Gordon Setter from field lines. We bought him before he was born and anxiously awaited word that the litter had arrived. The call came from his breeder on May 19, 1991. We drove 4 hours to pick him out and he actually chose us.

Bio:
Laddie was a feisty, energetic Gordon. He was diagnosed with Lymphoma when he was 8 years old. After successful treatment at the University of Wisconsin, he went into remission for two years. We cherished every day of those two years and were constantly reminded of how fortunate that time with him was. He lost his battle at the age of 10.
