Arrival Story:
I went to Petsmart one day and I saw him in a cage to be adopted. I thought to myself, "I do NOT need another dog!" (I had five at the time!) But when I went back the next week, HE WAS STILL THERE! Well, it was meant to be, right? I filled out the five page application and I was finally able to pay the price and get him a little over a week later.

Bio:
This is one of the saddest days of my life. My beloved Rubio has passed away. It is July 15, 2010. I will never forget this most amazing, perfect dog!

ADOPT 2012 CONTEST

One day, mommy went to Petsmart and they had me in a cage at the front. She thought I was very cute, but since she already had 6 dogs, she decided not to pursure it.

Well, a week later, she went back to the same Petsmart and I was still there! How could she deny me a second time?

Well, she couldn't, so she filled out a five page application and brought Blaze, my future big sister, to meet me. We seemed to get along fine and so she went home and waited to hear back.

Five days later, they called her and said to come get me! They had named me Houston and mommy refused to have me named anything to do with Texas (the shrub was president at the time) so she changed my name to Rubio.

She had me for 4 short years before I died in her arms (a story for another day) and she says I was the best dog she ever had! (But don't tell Tango!)
