Arrival Story:
Sampson was an unclaimed stray. Because he is a very large black dog, we knew he would need help finding a home and that the shelter would run out of time before he could be adopted.
He is a very nice dog, completely house trained, and good with cats. He is good with submissive, laid back dogs and does have an alpha personality. If you have a small alpha dog or a large alpha dog, no matter male or female, he is not the right dog for you. However, if your dog is submissive and can live quite happily with a dominant dog, they should be fine.
Saampson has been around children and cats and has been just fine. He is a big boy and is currently living with two giant breed dogs. His foster said he is great in the house.
