Hey everyone! Its me, Scooter, your feisty red-head. Just thought I would
let you know what was going on in my neck of the woods. Whew! What a
whirlwind these last few weeks have been. I have settled nicely into my
foster home and all the people love me. There have been boxers moving in
and out and all the boxers love me. I went to my first event and all the
people and boxers love me. You get the idea! You know what they
say...'Everybody loves a redhead.' What? Thats not what they say? Well,
obviously, they havent met me yet! Since the weather has turned nice, I
have been taking my foster mom for walks in the woods. She says I still
need lead work. I say she just needs to walk faster, hee hee. I am an
excellent car rider. During our spa days I am perfect. I do not jump on
the furniture. I go into my kennel when I am told and settle right down
(unlike some other boxers in this house). I come when called and sometimes
when I am not called. (That is for extra loving.) I love nylabones and
tennis balls. Good thing that teenager in this house plays tennis, he never
minds if I swipe a ball or two or four. My foster mom leaves me in her
bedroom when she goes to work and as long as she pulls up the blinds so I
can see out, I am good as gold! I do not have accidents in the house. I
have scabs on my ears from the new boxer in the house. He likes to chew on
me. I dont mind. I am very loyal to my pack and love them all, human and
boxer alike. If you are looking for a fiery companion who sometimes talks
to you and sometimes crawls into your lap and sometimes chases the other
dogs around the house and sometimes snores, it sounds like you are looking
for me. Until next time... Love, Scooter.

They call me ‘The Nudger’. If I just happen to notice that one or both of your hands are idle, I will come to your rescue and nudge your hand with my head. It is for your own good really because petting me makes you happy. I am a 3-year old female who was turned in to Blue Ridge Boxer Rescue because my former owner (who loved me very much) could no longer care for me. I have been in my foster home for a few days now and everything is going great. I am house broken. I have not been crate trained, I had free roam in my last home. I am calm and reserved most of the time, but if you toss a ball, then GAME ON! I love to catch that ball and toss it in the air. I take treats gently and am a great car rider. I am a lady in the bath and lie still when my nails are trimmed. I do not know my obedience commands yet, but I am smart and will learn quickly. There are two male boxers in this house who I like to play with. The older one pulls my legs when he wants to play and the younger one pulls my ear. I do not like cats, as far as I am concerned, they are made for chasing! I walk well on a leash and run like a rocket in the back yard. I am in love with the teenage boy in the house, I follow him around everywhere. I am a well mannered lady who is looking for my forever home. Maybe you are looking for me too? Until next time, Love, Scooter
