Arrival Story:
Heidi was ready to be put down at the pound when I found her, she had been a stray. The pound had not taken care of her...she was a mess,covered with poop/skinny and frightened ( the 'people' at the pound seemed more frightened of her!? ) but,when I took her out for a walk ...that was it...she adopted me and hasn't left my side since. At that moment she captured my heart and has been my constant companion. She loves everybody and everybody loves her. I can't imagine life without her, I only hope I give her as much love and joy as she gives me.

Bio:
During the winter of 2010 we had some bad news. Heidi had developed bone cancer in one of her front legs which had to be amputated. She has been doing great as a tripaw but the cancer is still slowly spreading. I am trying to make her golden years the best that I can for her and enjoying every day we have left together. I had to let my girl go November 2010 the cancer had spread. From the first day I brought her home she adopted me and stayed by my side from then on. She was one of the best things to ever happen to me. I love her and I miss her. Goodbye my little girl.
