I'm back home. It was nice at my adopted home but I was bored. I didn't have friends there to pick at and I didn't have a fence to go running around like here. My mam and dad were very good to me. I got hugs and rubs and pats. It was nice. I had lots to eat and all kinds of new toys. It just didn't work out though. They gave me back and it''s OK. Mom and Dad said I can stay here as long as I need to. I came home and took up right where I left off. They got a new dog here. Mom calls him Stormy. Skinny little thing! I told him to chill out. Mom will get him fattened up in no time. He's OK for a little guy. Everyone else is here except Oscar. Gotta ask about him tomorrow. Ahhhhh I'm ready for bed now.

He is a RASCLA! he likes to pay and gets along with all as long as they don't try to take his ball away from him. He is funny. Has the bug eyes and is thin but seems healthy. I have no info except her was a stray. He is a pretty boy and makes me think of Zee in many ways. He is eating and no problems I see.
9/22/09 He was not claimed so I guess he is an ARF dog now.
9/27/09 Skipper is doing well. He is a handsome boy and is funny. He bit me one day when I tried to pull him out from under the sofa where he gad squeezed under to get a ball. He loves toys. He is very energetic. He is a Pee-pee machine! I hope neutering will stop this. For now I keep him in a crate a lot of the time and he doesn't seem to mind.
10/6/09 Rabies, neuter, HW test POS!
10/19/09 Today Skipper had vac with 7 in 1 & Bordetella by Debbie G.
Heart worm treatment 11/16/ & 11/17/09 Skipper had a hard time in treatment. Had to go back to vet twice and had antibiotics and Pred. Last day was Jan. 3, 2010 and he is doing well now.
1/10/10 Skipper was adopted today by an older couple who live in Eunice. Melba & Jerry Guillory. They do not have a fenced in yard but had a dog for many yrs so I feel they will leash walk him. Fred and I both explained to them that Skipper has attitude and they said they could handle it. Their Westie had attitude too. Skipper had been chipped by April w/24Petwatch chip. Told them about the heart worm treatment and wait 6 mos for him to be retested. They were so excited. He is going to sleep in his crate at night. He is doing well but still needs to gain a pound or 2. Has his 24Petwatch microchip.. Have a folder of all info for his people and will explain everything to them tomorrow when we go out there.
Good luck Skipper. His new name is Winston............very fitting!
