He is soooo smart! Tricks: Shake hands, lay down, stand up, stay (for 5 minutes!), give a kiss, spin around, weave, go under, go over, roll over, sit, find a treat, and my fave... sit at the crosswalk!!

Arrival Story:
He came straight out of the 'hood - a shelter in a terrible part of South Central Los Angeles. I saw him listed online in the shelter photos and thought he was the ugliest thing; he looked sickly and you couldn't tell what breed he was. When I got to the shelter to see him, he was 2.5 pounds and looked starved to death. He had a cast on his front leg, burned ears, mites, bumps along on his tail, and hair loss all over his head. To me, he was absolutely stunning. No joke, I saw a halo above his head. And when I went to his cage and called him over he hobbled over to see me and I knew I had to take him. He wasn't available to adopt until the next morning so I drove down at 6am the next day to be first in line. As it turns out, someone did show up at 7am for him, but he was already mine :-) Adopting him was probably my best decision ever. I love him more every day. He has beautiful qualities.

Bio:
BEST. DOG. EVER. He passed his AKC Good Citizen Test in 2010, and his ITD test in 2010, and is a registered Therapy Dog :-) I knew right away he was smart and I self-trained him for 6 months on daily obedience and tricks.
