A big friendly wet tongue all the time.

I don't like invaders on my mom's property. Or across the street. Or 6 blocks away. I'll stand at the window and let them know how fierce I am until they go away

Favorite Toy:
I like my squeaker ball and my pully rope. And I love my bone!

Favorite Food:
Well I like jsut about anything that I can put in my mouth but I love popcorn. Sometimes mom drops a few kernals and I go crazy. And peanut butter. Yumm.

Favorite Walk:
walk? Did you say walk? I love to walk!!! Let's go for a walk! Anywhere I don't care! Can we run too? I love to run.

Best Tricks:
I can't do much. I can sit and shake. Lay down took me awhile. And I try to play dead. I can't roll over real well cause my legs are so long. I just learned to speak. It took awhile but I was so excited when I finally got it that now I speak all the time!

Arrival Story:
My mama found me when I was just a pup. I was with my mom and her other puppies. I was born in a barn outside and I had fleas and ticks. I was malnourished because all the other puppies were bigger than me and more aggressive. So they always ate all the food. My owner wanted money for me but my mama wasn't happy with how I was treated. She took me home and gave me a flea bath. Then she pulled all the ticks off and that night she even let me sleep on her bed. I met my sister Elphaba, and she didn't like me at first. I was a new dog invading her home! But I'm a boxer so I just boxed her a few times in the face and pretty soon we started to play. Now she's my best friend. Even though we fight sometimes. Mama doesn't really know what I am other than boxer. She knows I've got some Great Dane in me, and she thinks maybe mastiff. She says I'm a heinz 57. A little of everything. I love to cuddle and lay all over everyone. I don't really understand that I'm a big dog. They keep saying it but I don't care. I get jealous of my sister a lot and want everything she has. Especially toys, treats, and attention. I think I'm really fierce and big and intimidating but I don't like loud noises and I get scared of guitars, umbrellas, school busses, bugs, wind, thunder, cats, deer, bunny rabbits, cell phones, anything that makes noise, the tv, the radio, the smoke alarm or anything like that. I'm a big scaredy cat. Mom thinks it's funny. I sleep on mom's bed still. She went away for the summer and left me with family and I was just distraught. I couldn't handle it. I found a dress she left behind and pulled it into my bed. Her family tried to take it away but I wouldn't let them. But mom's back now and life is okay again.

Mom keeps trying to figure out what I am. I'm almost 3 now, and she wishes she could tell. But everytime I show traits of one breed I turn around and do something else.

We know boxer for sure. Thats why my dad was. But my mom was HUGE. She stood next to my mom and her head was at my human mom's elbow. Of course, my human mom is not real tall but still.

That's why mom thinks I've got some dane. And my legs are so long I trip over myself.

We also think I might be a little mastiff. I've got those droopy eyes. Mom watched a movie with a mastiff in it the other night and thought the dog reminded her of me.

And then there's the pointer theory. Again with the long legs. Maybe I'm part pointer? When I get on a scent I like to point my leg like that.

Sigh. Mom is realizing she just may never know. But that's okay. I guess. They say mutts are healthier. Maybe I'll be a really healthy boy and live a lot longer! I think my family would like that!

Mom is trying to figure out how to work with me to not be so hyper. I just can't sit still for very long. She takes me for long walks but it gets hard when it's so cold outside. But even if I go for a walk I've got so much energy. Mom says she's very open to any tip from my puppy friend's mommy's to help me calm down!
