Mud, Food & The Park.

Sorry it's been so long since I've written. My owner doesn't leave the comptuer too often...says "I'm working!" all of the time...

I'm Molly the Mud Hound as they all call me. So I like dirt. And Mud. And Water. They're a great combo...they think I just like the mud - no, I like the bath I get after going in the stinky mud and the good massage that follows in the tub.

Since we last talked, I've been to the dog park a bunch of times...let me tell you a thing or two about the Dog Park.

Some dogs are cool. Some arn't. Some don't know how to behave and leave me alone - like last week when we were there. I was already leashed trying to leave and Syd was getting her leash on. This other dog comes up and tries to sniff me. I tell him to go away...does he? No. He continues. Does his owner pay attention? No. So I growl and then his owner comes all unglued at the hinges because I growled. Excuse me? I'm the one that's leashed, I'm the one that can't go anywhere, and you're mom is yelling at ME because YOU are in MY space? No, don't think so.

It's not like I even showed teeth.

Geez. Give a girl some space, would ya?

Oh, and since we last talked, I've gained about 20 pounds. My family is really starting to wonder what I'm mixed with. If they only knew.............muhahahha!

I'm a growing girl, yes I am!

So much has happened since I last wrote - I got Syd sick with Kennel Cough, we both got over that and we're fine now. We get along pretty well now, except when I try to steal a toy and she wants to play with it. Everyone thinks that I'm a lab/border collie mix, whatever that may mean. I've grown up a lot in the last couple of weeks, that's for sure. I like to walk on the leash now, and drive in cars and go places. Syd keeps telling me about this place called the Dog Park...I don't know what that is, but she keeps saying that it's a place where other dogs can play together. I'm not so sure about that, I just like playing with her.

And eating plants.
Well, eating anything pretty much. I gained 4 pounds last week.

I'm sick. :(

Yep. It's true. I've got Kennel Cough. :( At least it's not as serious as Syd's sickness when she was my age, but it's put me under the weather and I'm trying to catch up on all of the sleep I've missed for the last 3 days. Dr. H was real nice to me when I went in, and they gave me all sorts of treats I can have when I get better. They gave me a shot, and that hurt, but it was ok. I went and visited Mom at work, and all of the kids liked me.

Oh! And the biggest news...Dr. H said I'm only 3 months, instead of 4-5 months like the SPCA thought. And I lost a pound, so I'm at a perfect 20 right now.
