We have just arrived home after a 3 day journey to Horsham and back to Adelaide. We had a great time and stayed in a lovely caravan park, where we were most welcomed. Now I am older I am allowed off my leash, which is a very nice feeling. My owners Wayne and Lynette trust me as much as I trust them. We went fishing by the river bank to keep cool, the breeze from the water was most welcome.

This morning we went for an unexpected morning walk. The power was out...so good chance to hit the footpath. We went on a different walk, different smells and away from the traffic. It was quiet enjoyable really. Lynette (my owner) accomplished many tasks as there is not a lot to do inside without power. The garden gates were removed so now we can go in their and have a sniff around. Always wanted to investigate behind that fence.

Its the start of a new week. We went for a walk this morning all 4 of us. It was a nice summers day. At the end of the week we are going caravaning to Port Augusta. There is a beach and some fishing to be done. It is only a 3 hour drive so not too long to spend in the car. I just going camping. Lots of new smells and places to sniff out.

WE HAVE JUST ARRIVED BACK FROM A FAMILY HOLIDAY TO PORT AUGUSTA. WE HAD A GREAT TIME...ANOTHER DOG FRIENDLY PARK ....AND I WENT WITHOUT MY LEAD EXCEPT WHEN WE WERE NEAR BUSY ROADS. I ENJOYED THE RUN ON THE BEACH EVEN THOUGH IT WAS A MUDDY ONE......WE WENT DOWN TO THE WHARF.....THAT WAS NICE WITH WIND WHISTLING THROUGH MY HAIR....LOVELY AND COOL. LOTS OF PEOPLE WANTED TO PAT ME....WHICH I DONT MIND...ITS NICE TO BE LOVED. WE ARE NOW HOME AND I AM LYING ON THE COOL MAT GETTING A WELL DESERVED SLEEP.

It has been a while since I updated my dog diary. This is a new year and I will endeavour to keep up to date. It has been a hot summer so far and Abby Rose has spent a lot of time lying on the bathroom tiles. Its the best way to keep cool. We are planning a holiday to Goowla SA on this Australia day. Caravaning again ... a very favourite pastime.

Last year 2012 in May we travelled across the Nullabour to WA We travelled about 6000kms and loved every minute. We had the best time visiting new places and camping in new parks. We met new friends and visited family in Geraldton. Everyone made us feel very welcome . Take care . I have added some photos of our trip away. Hugs and lots of licks Abby Rose
