I haven't had Simon long but he is very sweet and loving for what he has been through its amazing he is just so friendly. His family didnt want him any more because he was going to cost him to much money to save his life. So they took him to the shelter to have him PTS. Some shelters will put to sleep a dog if the family asks them to no questions ask. Luckily we were able to convince the staff to let us save him and deal with his medical issues.
So here he is, Simon is very emaciated due to worms and poor nutrition he will need to gain weight before he is neutered and goes through HW treatment. He will need to gain at least 20lbs. You can see practically every bone in his body now, but not for long. He is loving all the food he is getting. He will be on puppy food to help him gain weight eating 3+ meals a day. He does really woof down his food probably due to lack of food, however we are feeding him small portions and using tennis balls in his food bowl to slow him down. That maybe something that never changes. All he wants to do is get right in your face and give you kisses. He is not completely house broken yet, but he is almost there. He has figured out he gets treats and lots of praise when going potty outside so he is doing really really well. Once house broken and healthy he is going to make a wonderful companion, he is just too sweet and loving not to. Simon has tons of potential and so much love to give he can barely contain himself.
Please won't you consider making the rest of his life all dog biscuits and warm laps?? He deserves nothing less for his rough start in life. Put in an application today as handsome as this boy is he will not be here long at all.
