Arrival Story:
Had been wanting a dog for a few months since not having one for a while and have ALWAYS wanted a Collie since I saw Lassie on TV when I was 4yrs old. We've had other dogs, but never a Collie. Well, I was browsing the net and found an ad in the online local paper for Collie puppies in Lancaster County! They were VERY low priced and I freaked and yelled for my hubby. I called and anxiously awaited to hear back and found out there were two females left. We made arrangements to go see them and it was SO hard to choose which one!! My hubby suggest I go with the bigger of the two. I felt sad leaving the little runt behind and that's was how Gracie came to us. Surprisingly, my best friend who swore she would NEVER own a dog, met Gracie, loved her so she & her family went and added her little sister to their family!! I'm so glad we have Gracie and that her little sister who was the last in the litter was adopted by our best friends! What a great thing for them to be able to play together. We love Gracie so much! She is so calm and different than any other dog we have ever had! The collie breed is definitely the breed for us! I knew in my heart I always wanted one. Should of gotten one years ago!!,.But so glad we have her now. She is wonderful!
