After several months of looking we sort of gave up as there were none in our area. Then the following week I was reading the local paper (I very rarely read it) and there was a single Alaskan Mal advertised. I believe it was fate that I just happened to read the paper and find her there. We went to see here a town over and bought her on the spot. It turns out she was adopted from a breeder by a retired couple and just before they picked her up the husband went into hospital with a serious illness. The wife had to be at the hospital with him and so they didn't think they would have time to raise her at her critical learning stage or give her the love she deserves. Bio: She is the daughter of a male red and a female Lilac liver white. The female was too young for pups and ended up being underweight when she gave birth but it was an accident and it turns out she did well. Chica is one of four pups and resulted in a Black-Sable dog with Agouti Domino markings. The Last Forum I Posted In: Destroying Things I've Been On Dogster Since:
