My life
it's her birthdayMarch 31st 2007 8:43 am[ Leave A Comment ] Hattie is 3 today, spoiled little thing got the hide a bee toy, the folks got me the hide a bird for my birthday so I guess I shouldn't complain but Hattie won't let me have any of the bees. I shared my birds with her. I will admit I was kinda selfish at first, maybe she will lighten up about them later, I will have to see.

Today Mom came home from work early, we were really excited to see her. She hugged on us and gave us treats. I was all ready to snuggle up by her when out came the collar and the leash. She put it on ME! Out the door we go, Hattie was just looking out the window, I am thinking to myself how special I must be to get to be alone with Mom today. She opened the car door and I jumped right in thinking, woohoo, a ride. Well we pulled into a place and I got out, I've smelled this place before, hmmmmm. She opened the door and we start to go in and it hit me...the VET, AGAIN. Hmmmmm, maybe we are here to pick up 'my boys' they were stolen from me when I took a nap while I was here recently, maybe the person who stole them brought them back. I let the girls there pet me, but then one of them took the leash from Mom and tried to take me into the back room, I say tried because I gave it all I had to not move, I stood firm and in place then I growled at the girl trying to take me. Mom coaxed me to go, but I stood there, she ended up having to pick me up to take me back there. Oh no, now what are they gonna do?
where'd they go?June 25th 2006 4:28 am[ Leave A Comment ] Mom put my collar on and asked if I wanted to go for a ride. I happily jumped in the car, and it was just me and my Mom, Hattie was looking out the window as we drove away. I felt so special, she was rubbing my head and telling me how much she loved me as we drove down the street. We stopped and she let me get out, it was one of the most 'scented' places I have even smelled. I hiked and left mine for all to know that I was there too. A lady opened the door and let us in and right then and there I knew I was at 'THE VET", grrrrrrrrrrrrr I hate this place, I always come out with short nails and my bootie violated and on a few occasions a new tiny hole between my shoulder blades, but this time, oh man, this time part of me didn't come out of that place. I remember having them when I went in. I must have taken a nap and while I was asleep someone literally stole 'my boys' I can't find em anywhere. I know they were with me earlier. I heard the ladies in there calling my Mom and telling her I was doing great, yeah great for a man with out his boys. I came home and carefully walked up the steps and was greeted by Hattie who instantly noticed that they were gone, she looked at me sideways as if to say, "now I gotta find someting else to bite at" All you guys out there, take this as a warning, be careful where you take a nap and get yourself a steel cage to house the boys in, there are people out there that steal them when you are asleep.

I don't think Hattie likes the idea of Mom going back to work. She dug all the plants out of one container, shredded, wallowed in and ate a magazine, and totally shredded a stuffed animal, it looked like it snowed in here. Then after Mom cleaned it all up, she had to take our boy Zack to his friends house, when she got back, Hattie had found the phonebook, and shredded yet another stuffed toy.
Wanted:February 16th 2005 7:52 pm[ Leave A Comment ] Is there anyone that knows where I can take Hattie for a barkectomy? Mom went back to work and Hattie the Handful has taken it upon herself to be the new security system. I think the meter reader thought there was a pack of wild dogs in here. Hattie hangs out on the back of the couch eyes wide open STANDING GUARD. She is in constant growl mode, alert to any fly that happens by the fence. Our neighbor tells Mom everything.

I have been so proud of my ability to catch things in mid air, popcorn, treats etc...
the pupJanuary 30th 2005 1:58 pm[ Leave A Comment ] Let me tell you about this pup that was brought home. I was having a rough time missing my ole gal, Thumper. Mom and Dad decided to bring home Hattie the Horrible. This 11 pound bundle of needle teeth has wreaked havoc on me ever since. She thinks it is fun to grab hold of the skin on the side of my face (Mom calls it my pugchops) she bites my 'ankles' she grabs hold of any part of me she can and holds on. I cannot lay down and rest because she is always in my face wanting to play. She thinks she is a junkyard dog, she barks at everything, she doesn't take well to any changes, I had to listen to her voicing concern out the window the other day. I got up to look, thinking maybe someone is there who shouldn't be. Upon inspection it was the neighbors van and truck. The van was parked in the trucks usual spot and the truck was parked in the vans usual spot, I couldn't make her understand that the vehicles were just parked differently, so I let her bark at it all day. I know ole Thumper is looking down laughing, Mom says I did the same things to her, and I barked alot too.
