Wow! What a difference a month makes! I am ready to be adopted and am
looking for my forever family! I am feeling great! All of my fur has grown
back! Everyone compliments me on my beautiful, shiny coat! (They seem to
LOVE my shade of fawn!) And I FEEL wonderful! No more itchies! I have tons
of energy! I love running around the back yard and I play so hard I sleep
on my pillow most of the time when I am inside! My foster family thinks I
am ONE FUN GIRL! I have THE CUTEST boxer wiggle and shake which comes out
often because I am happy all of the time! My puppies have all been adopted
and I am free as a bird! And I have been spayed and I am, as always,
heartworm free!
You should know that I am a one of a kind adoptable pal! I am good with all
dogs, male, female, large, small, old, and young. I am very very well
socialized! I am good with all kids. I live with a toddler who has just
learned to walk and I NEVER knock him over. I am so gentle with him, even
when he pulls on my ears and my face before he gets corrected. He takes my
toys from me all the time and I’m o.k. with that because I am submissive. I
am not at all food aggressive. I take treats from everyone ever so gently!
Also, I am good with cats! I mostly ignore them. Every once in a while I
will be sleeping and see one running out of the corner of my eye. I might
chase them in that scenario but would never harm one.
I am content to stay in my crate while you are at work or I can stay out in
the house without chewing anything or creating a mess…but if you leave me
out, you might discover that I will lay on your couch while you were
gone…what?...no one else was sitting there! I LOVE to ride in the car and
walk on a leash! I sometimes tug a little but am easily corrected! Actually,
there is nothing that I wouldn’t do for you…or stop doing…with a little
verbal correction…I really want to please you!
So if you have been looking for a wonderful boxer to adopt, but you have a
cat or a child or a small dog and are worried…I AM THE GIRL FOR YOU! I am
tried and true tested with a little bit of everything! And I pass all my
tests with flying colors! All I want in life is good food, a chew toy, time
to run and play, and a whole lot of lovin’ which I will return in spades! Did
I mention I like to hug? Yep…I will walk right up to you while you sit on
the couch and lean in and you can hug me till your heart is content! Won’t
you call and ask about me? I would love to meet you!

Hello everyone! I just wanted to let everyone know that I am feeling MUCH
better than when I wrote last. I am getting better each day. My hair is
growing back, I am gaining weight, and I am not as itchy as I first was...my
medicine seems to be working wonderfully. I sure do love to cuddle with my
humans. My 1 year old foster brother crawls all over me and I don't mind at
all! I have been spending lots of time with small dogs now too and we get
along great. I don't even mind them around my puppies. I am a gentle girl
and I have so much love to give. I look forward to having a forever family
of my own. Won't you adopt me?

Hi Everyone! My name is Marla and I am new to the rescue. I came to the
rescue with my three pups that I saved from freezing weather and abuse. Check
out my pups Atlas, Willa, and Dublin who are also on BRBR’s website. There
were more pups in my litter but unfortunately not all of them made it. I am
a WONDERFUL Momma and the pups are doing well!
The Vet says I am about one-year old. I am heartworm negative and in pretty
good health. I was very skinny when coming to the rescue but am gaining
weight which is giving me more and more energy daily. It’s hard to gain
weight right now as my pups are not fully weaned. I also am VERY itchy! It’s
not mange or fleas…I will go on some medicine when the pups are weaned and
hopefully that will take care of the itch. Meanwhile, I can’t seem to help
myself from scratching and sometimes make myself raw over it.
I am SUCH A GOOD GIRL, though. I am fully potty trained. I will go in a
crate or will stay out while you are gone to work…your choice! I travel
well in the car. I know a bunch of commands including sit, stay, look, off,
go lay down, go to bed, and more. I walk pretty well on a leash. I have no
food aggression. I am interested in cats…not that I want to eat one...I
just like to smell them…but if they run I do like a good chase. I like my
foster brother but he is a three year old boxer and might have a little too
much energy for me. I have had a hard life and am still learning how to
play. My foster mom tossed me a tennis ball and I ducked and ran and yelped
with bad memories. But I am learning.
Really all I want is someone to follow around and snuggle with. I love
humans! I am SUCH A PERFECT GENTLE GIRL with the one year old baby boy I
live with now. He pets my face and kisses me and even sometimes will push
up on me and I just let him. I am gentle with everyone and have no
aggression and I listen well and I just want to follow you around and be
your best girl! Won’t you adopt me today?
