Favorite Toy: An old stuffed lion. Scooter and his brother Rebel play tug o war with it.
Favorite Food: Nutro Lamb and Rice
Favorite Walk: Around our neighbor hood
Best Tricks: I haven't taught him any tricks. His personality is entertaining enough.
Arrival Story: My daughter has a miniature schnauzer named Rebel. I have always had medium to large sized dogs. However, after bonding with Rebel and seeing his breed behavior I decided I had to have one of my own.
Almost one year after Rebel was born his breeders announced an unplanned litter on the way. I was very excited to hear the news and asked the breeder to email me pictures of the litter at 4 weeks of age. Scooter stole my heart out of all 4 of the litter and I responded immediately that was the puppy for me.
Scooter came home during my birthday week. I however, was working out of town and my daughter and grandsons cared for him for a week before I got to see him in person. I could hardly wait for the weekend to drive home and hold my new "best friend". YES! I said friend. No one human I have ever considered a friend can give the unconditional love that a dog can.
Scooter is a little over a year old now and 1 of 2 best buddies I have had out of all the dogs I have owned. My other being "Harley" (resting in peace). A beagle norwegian elkhound mix.
Scooter is well behaved, balanced and extremely happy! I am the "Pack leader" and that in itself gives Scooter stability, security and emotional health.
Scooter has some wacky quirks and we are working together on those. But, no matter what he does or doesn't do. He will always be with me and our pack.
Scooter's Poses: Here are some of Scooters photo shoot favorites. Of course they are always random. Scooter hasn't let his fame go to his head and prefers to not be referred to as a Professional Runway Model.
